DESCRIPTION:On behalf of “Dance Moms: A New Era”\, we are pleased to extend an invitation to your organization and their families to attend a special nationals performance taking place at Leuzinger High School Auditorium in Manhattan Beach\, California on June 7\, 2026 at 10am PST. \nFor this year’s competition\, our dancers are preparing a meaningful routine that incorporates elements of American Sign Language. The intention behind this piece is to explore how emotion and storytelling can be expressed through movement\, even when music cannot be heard. Through this experience\, our dancers and families are gaining a deeper appreciation for connection\, communication\, and inclusivity within the performing arts. \nWe would be honored to welcome members of the ASL and Deaf community to be part of the audience for this performance. We are also working with Deaf West Theater Alum\, Lark Detweiler\, who will be acting as not only our co-choreographer but also our consultant throughout the week leading up to Nationals. Our hope is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students and families can enjoy the routine and share in this unique moment with our dancers. \nThere will be an interpreter in the afternoon during the performance group performances. \nHere is a link to the event page. DESCRIPTION:The Scarlett’s Park Conference wants to warmly invite you for the 8th Annual Scarlett’s Park Conference\, taking place virtually on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026. \nThis year’s conference\, “Congenital Cytomegalovirus (cCMV) and the Developing Deaf & Hard of Hearing Child\,” will explore one of the leading causes of non-genetic hearing loss in children worldwide. Although congenital CMV affects thousands of children and families each year\, awareness and understanding of its long-term impact remain limited across educational\, medical\, and community settings. \nThroughout the day\, presenters and panelists will share perspectives on screening\, early identification\, educational implications\, developmental outcomes\, advocacy\, and lived experience.
