At Family Camp you will experience children’s skits, field games, a camp fire and other activities to strengthen a family bond. Parents attend educational seminars that focus on the family; including sibling and family bond and a variety of issues related to raising DHH children. While parents are attending workshops, the children participate in groups supervised by well-trained enthusiastic volunteers. Many of the counselors are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and serve as terrific role models. The children are grouped by age and enjoy arts & crafts, hiking, sports, and games with fellow campers. Children 1 and under remain with their parents.

Family Camp is a safe space for families raising Deaf or Hard of Hearing Children! We value this unique opportunity to learn from one another and to be surrounded by families who have children of all ages and who use a wide range of communication opportunities! Attending Family Camp will not only build self-confidence for parents, DHH children and siblings, but each family member will walk away with lifelong friendships.
