Post-Secondary Transition begins no later than the year a student turns 16 as defined by IDEA. Per IDEA, transition is designed to be a results-oriented process that is focused on improving the academic and functional achievement of the student to facilitate movement from school to life after high school. This may include; further education, employment, and/or independent living.
