California Hands & Voices is an unfunded organization operated by a group of volunteers who are passionate and committed to serving families. Your financial support allows our chapter to grow further to support the needs of families in our state. Donations fund our unavoidable operating costs, provide the opportunity for us to host regional events, and provide the funding needed so that our board members can attend educational conferences.

California Hands & Voices is dedicated to supporting families with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a respectful and non-judgmental manner regarding language opportunities, communication tools or educational approaches. We are a parent-driven, nonprofit organization providing families with the resources, networks, and information to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children. Our outreach activities, parent/professional collaboration, and advocacy efforts are focused on enabling children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to reach their highest potential. Our diverse membership includes mothers, fathers, professionals and community members all working together committed to the Mission and Vision of California Hands & Voices and we thank you for being an important part of that work!
