Whether your story is joyful, complex, courageous, or all of the above, it might be just what another family needs to hear right now. We warmly invite parents of children who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, or DeafPlus, as well as Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults, to share your personal story on our website. Your lived experience has the power to inspire, inform, and uplift others who may be walking a similar path. Our story survey includes a variety of optional prompts to help guide you. You’re welcome to answer the questions that resonate with you and skip any that don’t. To help honor the many paths families take, we ask that you please share your story in a respectful and non-judgmental way. Using phrases like “This was our experience…” or “What worked for our family…” instead of “All DHH kids should…” this helps celebrate the diversity of journeys within our community.
