If this is your first time visiting our website, you may have recently learned that your child is Deaf or Hard of Hearing, or at some point along the journey, someone referred you to California Hands & Voices. We are parents of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children who share common experiences, hopes, and dreams—and we are honored to walk alongside you. We’re so glad you found us.

California Hands & Voices is dedicated to supporting families with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a respectful and nonjudgmental manner—regardless of language, communication tools, or educational approaches. As a parent-driven nonprofit, we provide families with the resources, networks, and information needed to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children. We believe that with access to the right support and information, families can make informed decisions.
