Here’s a huge shout out to the planning committee for putting this all together. Our Director Kasey Cain, Leslie Manjarrez, Nicky Feinstein, Denise Kyles Jensen, Emily Sheldon, Kimberly Nguyen, Kira Tran and Johanna Wonderly.
A good family camp cannot happen without a spectacular Children’s Program so props to Children’s directors Leslie Manjarrez and Caitlin Marie. And let us not forget our amazing Children program volunteers who brought their energy and gave these kids a weekend to remember: Abagail Dohrnii, Anne Sager, Molly Walker, Shara Bonilla, Kimber Gallagher Graham, Mackenzie Skinner, Kaitlyn & Michelle O’Neil, Kalia Cruz, and Alfred Barcenas.
Paul Wonderly ran the archery station a favorite during family time. Andrew Nave and his techy and general help in the parent sessions. Our amazing presenters who shared their wisdom and life experiences with our families: Kimberly Nguyen, Sean Esson, Katelyn Zernovoj, Cheryl Esson, Emily Sheldon, Heather Morehouse Jack, Razi Zarchy and Leah Geer.
Want to give a big shout out to Lion’s Camp Ross Relles for offering us a discounted rate which allowed our families to financially access an all-inclusive program that opened up more opportunities of togetherness and socialization. LEAD-K Family Services so the family of a young Deaf child could attend and receive much needed support and Access Language, Inc. for providing 2 interpreters for our parent sessions so parents could access the wonderful information our Deaf presenters had to share.
It really takes a village and our village came through.
So excited our community was able to bring back #DHHFamilyCamp to Northern California!
