For over 59 years, Weingarten Children’s Center (WCC) has been a leader in teaching Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) to young children who are deaf or hard of hearing. WCC operates as a school and clinic in Redwood City, California (Bay Area) that uses a cognitive curriculum to teach LSL in conjunction with observation, reasoning, and social and emotional development. WCC prepares children who are deaf or hard of hearing to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, setting them up for lifelong success.
